Beers of the week January 30th, 2023

1. Cellarmaker | Mount Nelson | Hazy Pale Ale, 5.7%

For all the climbers out there! Cellarmaker’s longstanding relationship with Freestyle Farms on the south island of New Zealand once again allows for a beautiful crop of Nelson. All the gooseberry, Sauvignon Blanc and diesel that a Nelson-lover desires, crowning a fluffy pale ale.

2. pFriem | Czech Lager | Czech Pale Lager, 5.1%

The tangerine creamsicle of beers, Mallow Mania suffuses a seemingly contradictory combination of ingredients into a pastel puce pint can. Milk sugar, marshmallow, tangerine and vanilla melt together for citric, lactic and altogether desserty tones. Drink after dinner in place of an ice-cream float!

3. Alvarado Street Brewery | Mallow Mania | Imperial Kettle Sour, 8.0%

The tangerine creamsicle of beers, Mallow Mania suffuses a seemingly contradictory combination of ingredients into a pastel puce pint can. Milk sugar, marshmallow, tangerine and vanilla melt together for citric, lactic and altogether desserty tones. Drink after dinner in place of an ice-cream float!
