Beer of the Week for November 7, 2019

This week, Jeff picked Valkyrie from Enegren Brewing. Valkyrie is a German Amber Ale, or altbier. Altbier translates to “old beer”, and this style predates the lagers that we associate with Germany. Valkyrie is smooth and toasty, with hints of caramel and chocolate, balanced by generous additions of German Noble hops. I have always loved a good amber ale with food, this one will pair flawlessly with almost anything on your plate.
